Biju's Journal

Day #1
This is a recount of what happened in the past few days. I have this vision of owning the most advanced boat ever built. One with a deep freeze and a diesel engine that could withstand the strong wind when at sea. Of course, some people turned out to be jealous of my wealth and started spreading rumours around. I do not mind, for I am aware that deep down everyone wants to be rich like me. I then embarked on the journey to make my dreams come true. I can see that it is not far from success now. My vision, my dream, my success! Whenever I look at those rotten, lousy boats my fellow villagers have, I cannot help but laugh at them. Their incompetence will bring them nowhere. My boat can travel much faster and is less vulnerable, much better than theirs in every aspect.
If only they were not so poor. They may be able to built a ship as good as mine. I shall show off my wonderful boat to every single villager, so all shall know that I, Biju, have built a boat that nobody else can possibly built.

Many days later
Finally! My boat has been built. It sure took a while, but nevertheless proved to be very successful. Nowadays I have been in my boat most of the time, watching my workers make the final touch-ups. Many people have been coming over to see my boat for a few days now. Some chose to mock at me while the others could only gawk in awe. I believe that those who mocked me were just sour grapes. Just now, a few boys shouted that I would be jailed for "smuggling silver and gold", which I did not, of course, and I ended up roaring at them. They ran away in fear, but I was too fat to catch them, so I will just let them go this time.

Next day
Today is the day my boat is fully built. It was supposed to be sailing on the sea majestically, but most unfortunately the tide was rather high and I would rather not take the risk. It does not bother me the least bit. What matters most is that my boat is ready to go. Tomorrow I will go to the sea to catch some fishes for my family. Today I shall rest.
